Rajkot: Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has decided to provide eight services on WhatsApp (WA).
The decision in this case was taken on Tuesday during the Civic body fixed committee meeting.
Initially, RMC would provide information about property taxes, water costs, payment receipts, professional taxes, death and birth certificates, vehicle taxes for several names.
For this, a citizen must send a message in the format specified to the RMC special WhatsApp number.
RMC Amit Arora Commissioner also instructed its officials to take complaints from residents on social media seriously.
The fixed committee on Tuesday also decided to put water pipes in the area that had just joined Munjka at a cost of Rs 10 Crore.
