Road Cantonment Closure: JR Def min min self purpose

Hyderabad: The local military authority (LMA) in Secunderabad Cantonment has closed 12 roads, including two in 2021, in the past two years.
However, five of these streets have been reopened with restrictions with warriors who are on guard, maintaining wisdom to allow or refuse to enter any driver.
In a written reply for the face of Malkajgiri Reddy Revanth at Lok Sabha, Minister of Union (Defense) Ajay Bhatt acknowledged that two roads were closed for 2021 and 10 roads for 2020.
It included two roads in the Land of the Class ‘C’ defense and 10 roads that fell at underground defense class ‘a’.
Ironically, nine roads closed in the last five years are under the class ‘C’, which is under SCB control and not under the Army (class ‘A’).
SCB is a civil body and the closure of the road means the rejection of the right to freedom of movement on public roads, believes the association of resident’s welfare.
The reply is contradictory.
Although it stated that there was no road closed at the Secunderabad Cantonment after 2018, the Minister provided details of the road that was closed since 2016, including 10 roads in 2020 and two roads in 2021.
In all, 19 roads closed between 2016 and 2019, 19 roads, five “Some” closed (only night).
The minister said 31 roads were closed in the last five years and, from them, five were opened with “restrictions” and five “partially” opened.
Revanth Reddy has asked, “whether the road in the Canton area is often closed by LMA even though some orders from the Ministry (defense) regarding the closure of the road”.
The minister answered said “No, sir.
After the issuance of MOD instruction dated September 4, 2018, there was no new road closed by LMA which was contrary to government instructions.
However, two roads that were closed initially continued to be closed.” Reply is contradictory to two things.
First, the minister acknowledged the closing of 12 roads after 2019 (i.e., 2020 and 2021) while rejecting the road closed after 2018.
Second, the minister also admitted that two roads, continued to remain closed.
However, the minister, silent about questions about the actions taken by the government to ensure that the 2018 command was carried out.
He suffered enough that according to the high court order, LMA Secunderabad could close the road under management for security reasons.
People who live in the colony bordering the center of AOC Afraid LMA will close more roads that quote security reasons because 58.1% SCB falls under ‘A1’ (under the active occupation of the Army) and ‘A2’ (provided for occupation Army in the future).
About 2.03% of SCB land is under the ‘C’ category (Canton board board for its use).
Only 27.48% of the land owned by the private sector, 22 closed roads fell under the land of ‘A’ and nine underground ‘C’.
