Road link focus on bilateral meetings

Bhubaneswar: The combined institutional mechanism led by the Secretary of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh held his first meeting during video conferencing on Tuesday to discuss various bilateral problems.
The problem displayed during the meeting includes transportation between countries, filling it up from teaching posts in odia and intermediate telugu and colleges in countries and establishing odiah chairs at the University of BR Ambedkar, Srikakulam, and Telugu’s language seats at the university are mixed.
Secretary Paku Suresh Chandra Mohapatra and Mitra Sameer Sharma Pain agreed to advance work on this problem.
Senior officials from the two countries attended the meeting the government was looking for the Intervention of the Supreme Court to detain civil servants from Andhra Pradesh from intruding to the territory.
Official sources said the debated Kotia problem was not taken at the meeting.
According to an official statement, Mohapatra highlighted the need for road communication with Anchal Swabhiman in the district of Malkangiri from Andhra’s side.
He said the area was well connected through Gurupriya Setu and MAOIS activities were significantly limited to the Odisha side.
Road communication from the Andhra side will help in ending the issue of left wing extremism in the area, he said.
The source said Sharma welcomed the proposal and agreed to build five main roads from the side of Andhra.
