Lucknow: The work of repairs ‘Patchy’ city streets which battered by Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has brought a little help to inadequate passengers who have been left behind loose gravel and mounds that force drivers to expect them.
During the examination of the reality of the newly repaired roads, the passengers told TII that the bad work pose a risk for the driver, especially at night.
The affected area includes Ashiyana, Alambagh, Mahanagar, Gomtinagar, Jankipuram, Indiranagar, Aliganj, Daliganj, Nishatganj, New Hydibag, among others.
In New Hyderabad, a road was repaired recently but soon gravel began to come out of the patch which made it risk for people to drive on stretches.
Pursuing Pothole repair works “Complete jokes”, Kailash Vishwakarma from New Hyderabad said the repair work carried out by LMC in the “terrible” area.
Timessenior LMC officers must take awareness and investigate this problem because taxpayer money is being used in road repairs, but people do not get the desired results.

Mounting Saini from Vishal Khand said, “This stretch was repaired a few weeks ago but because the material below the standard used by the contractor, the hole has begun to appear again.
Very frustrating for us to drive on these streets full of holes.” On Niradaagar, the streets are repaired but some parts of the stretch are left not repaired.
It’s hard to go here at night because there are no street lights in the area.
Vishesh Khurana from Niradaagar said, “This stretch was full of holes until last week.
However, the whole stretch was not repaired and a big crater in the middle of the road was not repaired.
It is very risky for motorists to drive because any error can be dangerous.” In Alambagh, the road -Well repaired but stretches are allowed to be used as soon as possible.
Repaired patches are not allowed to dry because gravel begins to come out again.
Manoj Jaiswal from Alambagh said, “Once the road was repaired, workers left the place and because of the movement of the vehicle, the situation immediately returned to one.” Likewise, the patchwork in Mahanagar was completed about a week ago but cracks have begun to appear.
Anmol Gupta, a commuter, said, “It seems that the road hasn’t been fixed at all.
I have started using public transportation for this stretch to save the suspension of my vehicle.” LMC Chief Engineer Mahesh Verma said, “Some private contractors have not done the right road repair work .
It has been slapped on them and they have been questioned to improve stretch again.
