Gurgaon: Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has begun special improvement, including overlay treatment, the construction of waterways to serve surface runoff, pathway, and trek cycles, with a stretch of two kilometers between the 48 toll (NH48) boundaries of gate and capashera.
With several offices and commercial rooms located along the stretch near the Delhi border, the road sees high traffic volume every day.
It is estimated that the cost of Rs 6.07 Crore, the project will take nine months to complete, officials said.
While repairs on stretches have begun on November 25, since then has been detained because of the prohibition of construction activities in the National Capital Region (NCR) because of the high level of pollution.
At present, GMDA has set a May 25 deadline for project resolution, including the 36-month disabled accountability period.
“Even though the August 2022 deadline has been set for project resolution, the work has been complicated from the start because of the prohibition of construction due to pollution.
We will do our best to redeem the lost time,” said a senior official.
GMDA will also place a road sign to guide the vehicle and ensure their safe movements and register signage along the stretch to help passengers.
