Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Wednesday eliminated road tax on passenger transport vehicles and offered a discount at stamp duty for stecting the RS 3.08-Lakh-Crore budget in assembly for fiscal 2021-2022.
Presenting the budget, the Minister of Industry of the State of Partha Chattejee, who has placed a vote at home in February, said the government has decided to expand the release of one-time vehicle tax for this period starting July 1, 2021 for December 31, 2021.
The government also proposed to reduce stamp duties With two percent for registration of deeds, while the circle rate is cut as far as ten percent.
Chatterjee presents the budget as Minister of Finance Amit Mitra is not limited because of poor health.
Speaking of student credit card schemes, launched on June 30, the minister said that the four percent interest rate will be charged as part of the subvention, while the rest will be borne by the government.
The budget speech is more important than the increase in fuel prices in this country.
