Varanasi: Tour operators and tourism department officials have discussed various problems related to the revival of domestic tourism which views the Covid-19 pandemic in the Varanasi and side by side.
“Chapter on the association of Indian tour operators (IATO) and Indian tourism held a meeting on Friday afternoon to prepare a road map for the revival of domestic tourism in the region,” said the tourist information officer Anil Kumar Singh.
“Members of the IATO and tourism officials discuss in detail how to revive and promote domestic tourism in the tourist hotspot along with the promotion of tourism inheritance,” he added.
It was discussed to link important tourist attractions such as Chandraprabha Wildlife Reserve, Rajdari, Devdari and Falls Lakhaniya and Lakhyachal, Chunar Fortress, Vijaygarh Fortress and Fossil Sonbhadra Park with main tourism.
In addition, ancient fortresses such as Rajshahi Palace, Atala Mosque, and Shahganj pool in Jaunpur District are also included in the discussion.
Roadmap The promotion of the proposed tourism also includes Trilochan Mahadev Mandir, Maa Shalam Chaiya Dham, Markandey Mahadev Temple, Temple of Shool Tantteshwar for religious tourism.
The meeting was attended by Iato Up President Prateek Hira, Bhuvendra Vikram Singh, Upendra Gupta, Ajay Gupta and others.
