Hassan: Working on the construction of the top railway (Rob) that connects the new bus terminal to NR Circle in Hassan is on track after an uncontrolled delay.
The work began three years ago and has affected the flow of free traffic in the city center because of the acquisition of land.
Now work has taken steps and most of the pillars are finished.
The project began in January 2019 and work was stopped after six months when the coalition government in the country fell.
Administrative and Covid changes have significantly postponed work.
Because construction of Rob, all vehicle traffic in the busy stretch of the city between the NR circle and the train gate blocked one and a half years back.
“Removing government land encroachment is done and no more is a barrier to this project.
For road services on the one hand, the acquisition of private land is waiting for the PWD department to recently sent us a proposal.
First, we discussed with landowners then a decision will be taken will buy directly or present notice of land acquisition, “said Assistant Commissioner Ba Jagadish.
“About 14,000 to 15,000 square feet of private land are needed for five-meter service roads.
Part of the Building of Bank Baroda and the Federal Bank near the NR circle will also be needed for the job.

The remaining work is to repair concrete riirers on the pillar, concrete strengthening, build crashing obstacles to the edge and earthwalls that are reinforced at the beginning.
