Rajkot: KOMPAT (East) Police on Tuesday found a car owner of an angadia company robbed in cash and jewelry worth Rs 65 lakh in Kutch City on Monday night.
The police have also restored the cellphone owner of the Angadia company from a car left near the village of Chirai about 30 km from Anjar.
On Monday night, the owner of the anggadia company from Anjar Bhavin Thakkar was robbed of valuables worth Rs 65 lakh by three attackers.
According to the police, when Thakkar traveled in his car, three people on a motorcycle collided with his vehicle near Khatri Chowk and began to argue with him.
One attacker then threw chili powder on Thakkar’s face and escaped with his car, who had cash and jewelry.

“We traced the movement of the defendant based on the Thakkar cellphone taken by robbers.
It seems like they left the car and cellphone,” the police said.
“Prima facie, it seems to be the work of local youth who might get a tip from the insider,” police said.
“Some gangs use this mode operandi colliding with target vehicles before robbing them,” police added.
