Rockets hit the environment near Kabul Airport in the middle of US withdrawal

KABUL: Rocket crashed into an environment near Kabul International Airport on Monday amid the ongoing US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Not immediately clear who launched it.
Rockets hit Monday morning in the Salim Karwan Kabul neighborhood, said Saksises.
Shoot gunshots immediately follow the explosion but not immediately clear who shot.
Witnesses, who spoke with anonymous requirements for fear of retaliation, said they heard a three explosion sound and then saw Flash in the sky.
People fled after the explosion, they said.
US officials did not immediately respond to a comment request.
US military cargo aircraft continued their evacuation at the airport after rocket fire.
In Washington, the White House issued a statement that said the official directed President Joe Biden on the “rocket attack at Hamid Karzai International Airport” in Kabul.
“The president was told that the operation continued without interruption in HKIA, and has confirmed his demands so that the commander recovered their efforts to prioritize doing anything needed to protect our troops in the field,” said the statement, using an acronym for Kabul airport.
On Sunday, Serang US drone blew up a vehicle carrying a “some suicide bomber” from Afghan Islamic State affiliates on Sunday before they could attack the ongoing military evacuation at Kabul International Airport, American officials said.
A Afghan official said three children were killed in a strike.
The US will withdraw from Afghanistan on Tuesday.
At that time, the US would be regulated to conclude a large two-week mass of more than 114,000 Afghans and foreigners and withdraw their last troops, ending the most American war with the Taliban back in power.
The US State Department released a Sunday statement signed by around 100 countries, and NATO and the European Union, said they had received the “guarantee” of the Taliban that people with travel documents could still leave the country.
Taliban said they would allow normal trips after US withdrawals were completed on Tuesday and they took control of the airport.
However, Afghans remain afraid of the Taliban who returned to the oppressive rules that were ever known.
There are sporadic reports about other murder and abuse in sweeping throughout the country.
Earlier this week, an Islamic state suicide attack outside the airport killed at least 169 Afghanistan and 13 members of US services.
The US strike drones elsewhere in the country on Saturday that he said two local affiliate members of the Islamic State in Afghanistan, who had fought against the Taliban in the past.
