Rockets Land in Baghdad’s Green Zone, near the US Embassy

Baghdad: rocket landed inside and around the green zone which was very fortified in the capital of Iraq Baghdad, who accommodated the US Embassy, ​​causing material damage Thursday morning, said Iraqi security forces.

Thousands of Iranian-supported militias from around the Middle East were deployed in various parts of Syria, many of them in the area along the border with Iraq.
Statement from security media cells, affiliated with Iraqi security forces, on Thursday said these attacks endanger the lives of residents and targeted diplomatic missions and will be faced by force.
The Iraqi government has called an attack on Wednesday “a terrorist” who violates Iraqi law.
Also on Thursday, a spokesman for the US LED coalition, Colonel Wayne Marotto, said these attacks damaged “Iraqi Authority Authority, Supremacy of Law and Iraqi National Sovereignty.”
