The Rockstar game has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas each get a HD reset.
They will be released in a package called Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy – Definitive Edition.
The collection will come to PC (through Rockstar Games Launcher), Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch will also host it.
It will come to iOS and Android in the first half of 2022.
Prices and release date have not been officially shared.
Verge reports that the Rockstar game has not explicitly mention what type of technical improvement is made, also has not distributed any recordings.
But it was said that each match has “a whole-board increase including graphics and increasing modern gameplay.” The company chose to take a loyal route for remaster, leaving the “classic look and nuances” how they were presented on PS2.
Grand Theft Auto V was launched eight years ago and it might feel strange to play a big auto theft game that doesn’t let you exchange between the protagonist, but the adventure of Claude, the protagonist is silent on GTA III; Tommy Vercetti in City’s Deputy; and CJ in San Andreas is still worth shooting.
Rockstar said that it would announce more about the collection of games in the coming weeks.
But before the launch, it will start removing the existing version of each title of the Digital Storefronts next week.
The new GTA 5 gene was postponed from November 2021 to 2022 March recently, so it seems that this new collection can fill its place in the release schedule.
According to the Screenrant, Rockstar will use this re-remove as a way to measure interest to remaster for other past games.
Rockstar reported circulating the Red Dead Redemption remaster, although it is not clear if the developer will put a greater level of effort for the remaster.
If the GTA remaster trilogy is sales success, maybe more classic Rockstar games can get remaster treatments in the coming years.
