PARIS: India’s Rohan Bopanna and Franko Skugor of Croatia Drifted in the men’s doubles second round in the French Open with a straight-set Triumph over Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili along with Andre Begemann of Germany on Tuesday.
The Indo-Croat mix took only one hour and one second to eliminate the competitions 6-4, 6-2 in their tournament opener.
Bopanna and Skugor struck their competitors once from the first place and two in the next to wrap up in fashion.
Bopanna and Skugor will take to the winners of the following first round game involving American duo of Nicholas Monroe along with Frances Tiafoe and citrus seeds Marcelo Melo of both Brazil and Poland’s Lukasz Kubot.
