Rome: Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Juventus, coach Massimiliano Allegri insist on Saturday, saying he has received guarantees from Rumors of Portugal Star which spread the possibility of returning to Real Madrid.
“Let’s clarify this problem, Ronaldo tells me that he lives,” Allegri said in response to many questions about Ronaldo’s shape and mindset ahead of the opening Serie A in Udinese.
“He is always well trained and always available.
I have read rumors in the newspaper, but he never wants to leave Juventus.” Italy’s top scorer last season with 29 goals absent for the last warm-up of Juve against club children on Thursday, but Allegri said he was ready to play in what would be the fourth and final season of his contract.
Allegri’s comments follow the rejection of the 36-year-old report, he fished to return to Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti, called such talks “no respect”.
In this week’s Instagram post Ronaldo said “The story at Real Madrid was written”, even though he did not explicitly say that he was not looking for a way out of Juve.
“There are often news and stories that link me to a number of clubs in many different leagues, with no one worried about trying to find out the truth really,” Ronaldo added.
Since moving to Juve in 2018, Ronaldo has won two Serie A titles and one Italian Cup, but has not brought European glory, the Italian club is in desperate need.
Allegri has returned to manage the club after missing two years after the failure of the Pirlo’s regime who saw Juve released the league title for the first time since 2012.
“Like every year, we come out to win every competition,” Allegri said, who won five Scudetto with Juve 2015 to 2019.
“We will take one step at once and try to win our first match in Udine.” It will be a good fighting season and you cannot have a peak.
