Gurugram: Managing Director Chitel Group has been ordered at the death of a resident of Chintel Paradiso in the Gurugram sector 109 after a portion of the flat collapsed on Thursday.
A woman has died, another woman was feared dead.
After 17 hours, injured people had been saved and taken to Max Hospital.
Rescue operations are currently underway.
Rajesh Bhardwah (48), a D-203 Flat Number from Chintel Paradiso, whose numbers died in the incident said on Thursday night he had received a call about the incident.
“In the incident, my wife Ekta (31) got a fatal injury and died around 7p,” Bhardwaj said.
Bhardwah said after reaching the community from the office he found that 6-7 floors had collapsed, and the rescue team worked in a place to remove debris.
“My wife’s body was taken from debris and was taken to the hospital where she was declared dead,” he said.
Holding the developer responsible for the incident, Bhardwaj said the incident had occurred because of negligent and under standard construction work carried out by the Managing Director of Chintel Group, Ashok Soloman and construction contractors.
Based on his complaint, a registered case against MD and others under Section 304a (murder guilty) and 34 (general intentions) from the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) at the Bajhera police station on Friday.
Chintel Paradiso is a housing community spread over 12 hectares in sector 109 in Dwarka Expressway.
The community has nine towers and each tower has 18 floors.
Flat in the community costs Rs 1.5 Crore to 2.5 Crore.
Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav said that the repair work was taking place on the sixth floor when the dining room flatly collapsed and it caused the collapse of the sixth flat area to the sixth floor to the first.
Because of the collapse, the protrusion has been seen on the first floor ceiling too.
There were no residents in the flat from the third to sixth floor.
Two families live on the first and second floor.
Only about 40-50 hectares of square flats have collapsed; The rest of the flat area is intact.
Only the flat dining room collapsed while the remaining flats were still intact.
A woman, who is on the second floor of the flat, has died.
On the first floor, Arun Shrivastava and his wife were still trapped in debris.
Arun’s feet had been under the ceiling debris and the NDRF team tried to save him safely, while his wife did not respond.
Deputy Commissioners have formed a committee led by the Deputy Commissioner of Wishram Kumar Meena to conduct an investigation with the assistance of officials from the department and related residents.
“The previous population raised several problems related to security and submitted several complaints.
Already my knowledge, the investigation committee will recognize it and the action will be taken if they find irregularities,” Yadav said.
