Bengaluru: Trigger Will He-No – He Speculation, Head of Karnataka Minister BS Yediyurappa on Wednesday Meeting of the BJP Legislature Party (BJPLP) is scheduled for July 26 – the day marking two years for him – and delaying lunch and dinner planned for the secretariat staff and MLA in Eve.
Since he returned from Delhi after a two-day visit to meet with party politicians last week, speculation was rampant that Yediyurappa might go down as cm at the end of this month.
It gets more attraction with the surface of the audio clip three days ago allegedly featuring the state president of Nalin Kumar Kateel which signaled the change of guards.
MLA V Sunil Kumar, whip parties in the Assembly, associated the cancellation of events to “unexpected development” and added that he was asked to notify the legislator that the July 25 dinner had been postponed.
CM hasn’t given a fresh date, he said.
The decision has caused speculation that BJP brass may be under pressure to delay the compensation process after seeing linglayat forecasters and community leaders rallies behind CM in the last two days.
The CM office said Yediyurappa planned to make a second warning at the “A Gala” event.
“Therefore, it would be difficult for him to focus on several events and the meeting was postponed,” he said.
The source said Yediyurappa planned to hold a video conference with BJP legislators from 120 assembly segments on July 26 to celebrate two years in the office.
CM has held a cabinet meeting, which is expected to recommend to the center that the Veerashaiva-Lingayat community is included in the CENTER OBC list.
A similar effort by Yediyurappa last year was dismantled by the party.
The Minister of Home Affairs Basavaraj Bommai said there was an effort to create political instability in this country by speculating about cm time in the office.
“Yediyurappa will continue like CM because it has been repeated by the National Secretary General of Arun Singh,” he added.
Former Union Minister DV Sadandada Gowda ruled out the “opportunity” of change when party leadership was happy with the development work and handling of Covid-19 under his watch.
