NEW DELHI: Head of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav will compete from Karhal in the Mainpuri District, his family fortress, while the ten sitting Mola was dropped in Uttarakhand by the powerful BJP including the daughter of former Minister of Chief B C Khanduri.
In Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced that Bhagwant Mann would contest from the Dhuri seat in Sangrur Regency because Thursday was a day of busy political activities in five states who would go to the next month’s election.
