Thiruvananthapuram: A medical expert team collects children’s DNA samples – involved in line adoption – from foster care in Nirmala Bhavan on Monday.
Sample Anupama S Chandran and his partner Ajith, who claimed the baby as their own, was collected for matching tests at the Biotechnology Center of Rajiv Gandhi.
When the government refused to accept Anupama’s request that he must be allowed to see the child, Anupama raised doubts for the possibility of playing cheating.
“How can we believe that DNA samples are collected from my child? In some previous cases, samples of children and parents are taken together.
When those who create all these chaos are given the responsibility to manage samples, they may behave wholeheartedly.
Authorities Must clarify why the sample is not collected in one place and at the same time, “he said.
The Minister of Health Vena George said the government had brought children here for rapid justice delivery.
“To ensure transparency, the DNA test is not done at Andhra Pradesh.
If Anupama is the mother of this child, let him unite with the earliest child,” he said.
In Anupama’s complaint that the authorities refused to let him see the child, George said that such permits could only be given in accordance with the law.
Previously on that day, Anupama fell unconscious in places of protest in front of the child’s welfare council and given medical assistance.
Then, he told the TV channel that the Personal Secretary of the Minister VN Sajeevan asked him not to make a problem for the government by seeking actions against those responsible for facilitating ‘forced adopters’.
Anupama said Sajeevan spoke in a tone intimidating when he called the minister who was seeking actions against the Secretary General of Shiju Khan’s welfare council.
This happened three days before he started a protest in front of the council office, he added.
The council has given the child to Andhra for foster care on August 6.
Meanwhile, Khan said that there was no truth in rumors that the Board did not have a valid license to facilitate adoption.
The court recently criticized the council to propose a copy of its un proven license.
