MUMBAI: Midfielder Rowllin Borges has extended his deal with dominating Indian Super League (ISL) winners Mumbai City FC by three decades and will remain with the club before May 2024.
The agreement signed between the 2 parties also includes a clause which Borges can choose to further expand his contract with an additional year.
The 28-year-old was a critical cog at the Mumbai City group which clinched the distinctive double from the 2020/21 year, winning the ISL League Trainers’ Shield along with the ISL Trophy.
The Goan midfield lynchpin made 20 appearances for the Islanders at the 2020/21 year, scoring two and supplying one help.
