Pune: The Republican Party of India (RPI) will oppose the upcoming city selection in the state in the Alliance with BJP at the final party symbol, Minister of Union for Justice and Social Empowerment and RPI Head of RPI Ramdas Athawa.
“Joining hands with BJP will be a win-win situation for the two parties.
So, we will have a coalition with BJP in the Civic poll,” he said, while overcoming a press conference here on Friday.
Athawane said that his party wanted a separate city corporation for 23 new villages to join into the limit of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
He said some villages could be added to the city limits if new companies were created.
A separate company needs to be formed to fulfill the population of around 40lakh, Athawar said.
The head of the RPI said that he had appealed to Sena Shiv’s head to join hands with BJP and formed a government.
The ministerial post post can be shared between the two parties for two and a half years, he said.
Athawane said that Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) did not have a good future together because of internal cracks.
The parties in the Alliance have talked about fighting for their own polls.
The powerful MVA did not elect to fill the speaker post in assembly for fear of losing polls.
Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) were afraid that MLA they would enjoy cross selection in elections.
“If this happens, after the minister will be in danger and he must resign.
So, the ruling parties avoid the election,” he said.
Athawane said that the problem of political reservations for other backup (OBC) would be taken.
Notification of it can be issued by the United States to facilitate reservations.
“The whole process of the census can be done based on caste.
This process will not promote the cashier but makes the image of each castle clear,” he said.
