RS 1 CR for Kin of Six Bravehearts Announced

New Delhi: Delhi Cabinet on Friday approved a proposal to pay the compensation of RS 1 Crore each to the family of six IAF, Delhi police and civil defense personnel who died in the task line.
The Delhi government said it was standing with the family of all paramilitary personnel, soldiers, police and civil defense in the city.
“The Governor of the Kejriawal will give the ‘Samman Rashi’ from Hospital 1 Crore each into the family of six brave hearts of Delhi who lost their lives in the row of tasks.
The decision was taken at the Delhi cabinet meeting regarding the Ex-Gratia Grant to the family,” said the office of the Minister of Chief A statement.
The Revenue Department was proposed to provide a total compensation, which was approved by the Cabinet on the instructions of Minister of Arvind Kejriwal.
Delhi people who lost their lives in the task line cannot be compensated, but their families will get assistance from the amount given by the government to respect their sacrifices, he said.
The six men included three of the Indian Air Force (IAF), two of Delhi police and one of the city civil defense wings.
Kejriwal has in June praising them and said he saluted to this brave because it made the highest sacrifice while guarding the country from “external or internal threats”.
His deputy Sisodia Manish Sisodia while announcing the government’s decision in June has said that the government of the Kejrianwi stands “shoulder-to-shoulder with the family” of this brave that reaches ‘martyrs’ while serving the country.
“Even though the loss of a soldier cannot be repaired, the government of the centrality, after the power has launched a scheme to provide Ex-Gratia to the family of the personnel so that it can be a source for them to live with dignity,” he said.
From the Delhi police staff, one senior officer and a police officer was one of the list of six people who died while doing their duties.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Sanket Kaushik lost his life while serving in Rajokri Flyover.
A truck hit him as he checked the vehicle around the area, and he died in that place, the statement said.
Kaushik left his wife and three daughters who were now dependent on him for sustenance.
“And, to respect the martyrdom and support his family to live a life of dignity, we have announced the Ex-Gratia from Rs 1 Crore to his family,” said Deputy Minister before.
Likewise, Vikas Kumar, Police Delhi, the police, performed a picket task when four-wheeled vehicles were the driver “intentionally increasing the speed” hit him, when asked to stop the vehicle.
Vikas was injured in the incident, and shifted to AIIMS afterwards he was declared dead.
From the Indian Air Force, Rajesh Kumar from Safdarjung here is “another martyr who lost his life while serving the Air Force”, said the minister’s office.
Rajesh was on an airplane that took off from Jorhat, Assam and later lost.
His ruins were found in Arunachal Pradesh, and he was later found dead.
He was only three months in his marriage, and therefore his family would also be extended by ‘Samman Rashi’.
From IAF, the FLT LT Sunit Mohanty is on the same flight as Rajesh Kumar.
Mohanty came from Dwarka, and he also died in a plane accident, while doing his job.
He lives with his family, including his old father, mother and sister, the government said.
Also, meeting Kumar, a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force, has died after MIG-21 crashed into the operational flying in the Kangra Hill in Himachal Pradesh.
Pravesh Kumar, a civil defense personnel, did his job at Flyover Mangolpuri when a truck hit him and fled, and he died.
His family will also receive RS 1 Crore’s support, he added.
