HYDERABAD: Kamalamma, 65, a resident of Boduppal, that recovered in Covid-19 in property isolation, is compliments for Dr Victor Emmanuel.
Many recognise the physician for a life-saver to get Covid-19 patients when many hospitals are fighting with lack of oxygen .
“For me, physician saab is similar to God and my spouse recovered from Covid-19 in a week along with his medicine.
I’ve needed to pay just Rs 40,000, that can be very affordable for its treatment,” Kamalamma’s husband K Yadagari told TOI.
P Janaki Ram, a worker of Centre for Good Governance (CGG), whose seven household members recovered after testing positive for Covid-19, spent just Rs 10,000 for its treatment.
Each of the seven members have been treated in house isolation below the physician’s supervision.
“If I’d confessed my seven household members into a private hospital, then the invoice could have spanned Rs 25 lakh,” explained Janaki Ram.
Countless households have recovered from the illness during the initial wave and present wave below the physician’s guidance.
Dr Emmanuel, a general doctor, conducts Prajwala Clinics at Boduppal.
His practice is always packaged with Covid-19 patients since the consultation fee is merely Rs 10.
“I treated almost 20,000 to 25,000 individuals having Covid-19 symptoms in a reasonable rate.
Another 500 patients have been treated at the Covid-19 Isolation Centre.
An older Medipally police station in Peerzadiguda has been transformed to some 30-bed isolation center,” explained Dr Emmanuel.
Dr Emmanuel explained that so much, all of his patients have regained from Covid-19.
“The Almighty has granted me a chance to serve the destitute.
The majority of them are struggling financially as a result of lockdown.
My consultation fee was fixed at Rs 10 for some households and is totally free for all poor households,” he explained.
In an average, 70 to 100 people visit the clinic daily.
