Lucknow: The country has received an investment proposal to the Tone of Rs 1,045 Crore from 32 NRIS over the past few months.
MSME Minister Sidharth Nath Singh that it was the government’s efforts during the pandemic which led to this proposal, for projects, especially from the agricultural, defense and IT sectors.
On Wednesday, the minister conducted a review of the project monitoring group for NRI.
He said that 116 Indian ambassadors had been contacted and the 3,046 NRIS data base was prepared.
The government is in contact with this NRI for proposals.
“Data on Prospective NRI investors have been received from 16 embassies and high commissions so far.
We expect data from five countries soon.
Up working with foreign ministries from other countries,” Singh said.
