Lucknow: The state government has released Rs 160 Crore for around five lakh farmers who are influenced by floods and rainfall in 44 countries in the past few days.
A spokesman for the state government said that the state government had released aid packages after assessing plant losses.
After reporting plants due to flooding and heavy shower in several parts of the country in September and October, the state government has ordered a survey to assess active agricultural damage.
About five lakh farmers are estimated to suffer plant damage with bad weather conditions.
The chairman of Yogi Adityanath’s Minister has also instructed officials to provide appropriate compensation and immediately to farmers.
A spokesman said that the damage assessment process had been increased in the districts affected by the flood.
According to official resources, the state government has assessed damage to 180 crore rs.
From where the assistance of RS 160 Crore has been released from the state disaster date funds.
The purvanchal district is the most affected by the flood.
CM, too, has visited the areas affected by flooding and taking stock situations.
