Lucknow: The state government on Sunday claims to have disbursed Rs 2.75 lakh Crore through direct benefit (DBT) transfers under various welfare schemes in the past four and a half years.
On Saturday, the government rises to be credited with Rs 1,980 Crore to a bank account from parents 1.8 Crore students for school uniforms, sweaters, bags, shoes and socks.
“The success of DBT is insuffable And payment becomes transparent, “said a government spokesman.
‘Up a new set of dimensions by recording purchases on the Permata portal’ while the DBT system limits corruption in the state, it also proves to be a gift for farmers, workers, daily bets, students and retirees, adding a government spokesman.
“This scheme helps the government in making rapid and effective decisions during the unexpected Covid-19 locking in 2020,” he said further.
The state government also claims to have set a new transparency dimension in the procurement of government departments by making a purchase record on the gem portal.
For the third time in the financial year of 2020-21, Uttar Pradesh was ranked number one for the highest government procurement of Rs 5,471 Crore through a gem portal.
In the past four and a half, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has made a total purchase of more than Rs 14,878 Crore through a gem portal.
