Hyderabad: More than 6 kg of gold worth RS 2.96 Crore confiscated from passengers at the International Airport in Hyderabad on Tuesday, customs officials said.
Passengers, who arrived from Dubai have hidden a total of 6.06 kg of gold in a recreated lantern, they said.
Customs Hyderabad posted a case for gold smuggling against passengers.
Further investigation is active.
