RS 267.35 Crore Covid Package for Kerala, said Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya

Thiruvananthapuram: The Minister of Health of the Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday said Rs 267.35 Crore had been allocated under the Covid Emergency response package to strengthen the state health infrastructure and effectively manage the Covid-19 situation.
He made a daily visit to the state with a team to review the situation of the pandemic.
In the meeting he had with Pinarayi Vijayan’s main minister, Health Minister Veena George and high-ranking officials, Mandaviya said additional Rs 1 Crore would be available for each district in the state to create a collection of drugs.
He also convinced all possible help from the center to the country.
The delegation has a complicated meeting with the chairman of the state minister and government officials.
The state presented a detailed report on the Covid-19 situation and also the steps taken from the beginning of the pandemic.
The Chairman of Pinarayi Vijayan’s Minister demanded 1.11 the earliest Crore vaccine to cover the entire country’s population with at least one dose.
Mandaviya easily approved the request and said the center would give the top priority for Kerala in sending vaccines.
He has led a high-ranking team from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare – including the Secretary of the Union of Rajesh Bhushan and the National Center for Director of Disease Control from K Singh – to the state.

Uni Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan also said Kerala ahead.
