Jaipur: Shows financial assistance for those who are injured in cases of natural disasters as inadequate, the Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot on Monday announced that those who were injured in lightning in seven districts would get RS 2 Lakh compensation.
He said the additional amount in the amount of compensation based on the norms of state disaster relief funds will be borne through the main aid funds.
Gehlot held a meeting of Diashter Management Official Meetings through video conferencing from CM residence to discuss the readiness of Monsun.
“Financial assistance for injured in disasters such as lightning according to the norms of state disaster relief funds is inadequate.
Thus, to provide injured financial assistance of Rs 2 Lakh, the number will be paid through CM help funds,” said Gehlot.
The authorities say according to the norm, which is hurt has the right to get 50,000 RS compensation and the rest will be given from the Relief CM fund.
Gehlot asked the authorities that in terms of disasters or disasters, commissioners of divisions, district collectors, SP must be sensitive and must visit a place to monitor assistance work.
“With the presence of senior officers, help work gets momentum and affected people get moral support,” Gehlot said.
The Main Minister also asked the authorities to take hard action against those who were found negligent when carrying out their duties during natural disasters or disasters.
“The main secretary must issue guidelines to ensure strict compliance with this command during natural disasters,” CM told the authorities.
Gehlot also urges the authority of the Office to analyze and study the excess rainfall, hail, cyclone and lightning and must issue a warning on time.
“Lightning forecasts, cyclones, hail and excessive rainfall must be sent to the department concerned so that they can have a commigency plan first,” he said.
Gehlot also directs the authority to start buying important equipment needed for assistance and rescue work by the power of state disaster assistance and urges to strengthen civil defense.
The main secretary of the Disaster Management Anand Kumar came with a presentation on preparedness during the flood or situation such as the flood during the rainy season.
He told the area for excessive rainfall, waterlogging and had a flood opportunity to be identified.
“We have established control rooms at the district and state levels and water resource authorities, the Ministry of Health and Public Engineering (PHED), Police and SDRF have been issued instructions to act together,” Kumar added.
