BALLARI: The Chairman of the Minister of Basavaraj Bommai said the government was ready to release funds with the song RS 3,000 Crore to the Kalyana Karnataka Regional Development Council from the next financial year, if the council spent the 1,500 crore Hospital that has been given.
Overcoming the meeting after inaugurating the building of educational institutions, CM said the government was committed to developing Kalyana Karnataka.
“But the Board has not spent 1,500 crore Hospital for its development.
This region requires a special scheme.
Development work must be executed by spending available grants,” he said.
Bommai said there were no changes in the stand guvenment in embedding the Mekedatu project.
“The Tamil Nadu government has no power to decide on this project.
So we are committed to implementing it through the Battle of La V Egal,” he said.
CM also said they planned to build a reservoir balancing to curb water waste.
“BS Yediyurappa has released Rs 20 Crore to prepare the DPR related.
We will discuss the implementation of the project with the countries concerned,” he said.
