New Delhi: Heroin processing unit excavated in the west of Uttam Nagar and Oly’s Owned Goods worth Rs 30 Crore confiscated by special cell Delhi Police.
Two human traders were arrested and raids said other syndicate members.
DCP Pramod Singh Kushwaha said the seizure included heroin 5.6kg, 1kg fenobarbital and 10kg substances were controlled.
“Milling equipment and mixing, equipment and other burdensome materials used in processing and packing heroin have been confiscated.
Quick cars and scooters used in transporting drugs are also confiscated,” he added.
The man who was arrested was Babu Lal aka Bablu (41) from Karala and Chigozie Foster Okafor aka David, a Nigerian currently lives in C-block in Om Vihar at Uttam Nagar.
The processing unit is thought to function from this rented accommodation.
“After getting a tip-off, a team led by ACP Attar Singh and Inspector Ishwar Singh ruined the gang,” Kushwaha said.
On September 8, the police knew that Babu Lal would come to the cremation land in Mangolpuri late at night to give heroin to a contact.
He was arrested when he arrived in a fast car.
The search for the bag causes the seizure of 4kg heroin.
Cases in registered NDPS laws and Babu Lal are interrogated.
He revealed that he received a consignment from Chigozie after Nigeria was arrested on September 10 from near the Delhi Metro Pillar at Uttam Nagar with 1kg Heroin.
Furthermore, the attack was carried out in the rented house, which caused the destruction of the processing unit.
During interrogation, Chigozie revealed that Babu Lal bought a rough or opium heroin from various sources after that he processed it into a pure / behavior heroin.
“Rough contraband is treated with anhydride acetate for synthesis and left for 12 hours.
The mixture is then heated with sodium carbonate and treated with other chemicals.
Solid powder is extracted after drying and phenobarbital is added to increase poisoning,” said a senior police officer.
The investigation revealed that they were members of the International Narcotics Narcotics Syndicate.
“Modules not only provide drugs for small human trafficking in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana, but also send heroin to countries such as Britain, Sri Lanka, UAE, Nepal, Bangladesh, and South Africa from Delhi through courier companies,” said Kushwaha.
Chigozie arrived in India in July 2019 on a business visa of six months.
After the end of his visa, he did not return to his country.
He was originally associated with fellow Nigerians in drug trafficking.
After working with him for about six months, Chigozie developed its own network and began operating independently.
The passport showed a visit to Nepal and the UAE and the details were verified.
