Chennai: Head of Minister Nadu Tamil M St Stalin on Friday announced the welfare measures in the 317.4 crore Rs tone to improve the condition of Tamil Sri Lanka who lived in refugee camps in the state.

The government will reconstruct 7,469 dilapidated houses in camps at a cost of Rs 231.54 Crore.
A total of 3 510 houses will be reconstructed in the first phase at this fiscal year 108.89 crore RS, CM said.
The government will allocate Rs 30 Crore to provide basic facilities in this year’s camp, he added.
At the front of the education from the Tamil Sri Lanka ward, CM said the government would expand free education and accommodation facilities to 50 students, which scored high, to pursue technical courses.
Likewise, the government will bear all the costs of students who pursue postgraduate.

The government will increase scholarships for students and Dole Monthly to family heads from Rs 1,000 to RS 1,500, adults from Rs 750 to 1,000 and children from Rs 400 to RS 500.
