Patna: Muzaffarpur police team recovered more rs49 lakh for housing search places superintending engineer Department of Rural, Anil Kumar, in Darbhanga District.

Muzaffarpur SSP Jayant Kant said on Sunday that around RS49 Lakh was restored from anal rented accommodation in Bahreta in Darbhanga Saturday night.
Some of the documents related to his assets were also seized during the operation.
So far, the total RS67 lakh has been confiscated from him, he added.
During the investigation, it turned out that the engineer had two flats in the Jagdeo Path and Veterinary College Road in the state capital.
His wife was present in one of the flats in Patna during the search operation, the SSP revealed.
SSP said Anil ancestral home in Alouli in Khagaria district also sought.
However, there were no burdensified documents found there.
Investigation officers will access their bank account so the bank is open, he added.
Jayant said the Economic Violation Unit (Eou) team from the State Police Headquarters joined the investigation on Sunday.
The Eou team led by DSP which was questioned by Anil at the Kudhani Police Station at Muzaffarpur on Sunday.
SSP said department official income tax (IT) has also reached the police station soon after the arrest of Anil Phakuli for interrogation to bring big cash with him.
