Ghaziabad: The state government will provide RS 50,000 assistance to their families who die of Covid.
The amount will be given from the state disaster assistance fund (SDRF).
461 people have died of Covid in Ghaziabad since last year.
Officials say a committee will be formed immediately to prepare the list of recipients.

RK Gupta District Supervision Officer said: “The letter issued by the state government said that Rs 50,000 must be given to each family who has lost members.
