New Delhi: If you have to enter numbers to the indiscipline crass, it will be 51.7 crores.
That was the amount of rupees collected from a careless Delhies between April 23 and July 7th because it ignored Covid’s behavior.
On April 20, Delhi reported more than 28,000 Covid cases one day and for several days the patient could not find a bed in the hospital or panting because the oxygen supply was short, while the reasons for cremation staggered with too many bodies to be handled.
But apocalyptic atmosphere seems to have been quickly forgotten.
After April 23, 2.7 Lakh residents had been convicted of ignoring the need to wear a mask.
More than 27,000 people have been fined because they do not maintain the necessary physical distances in public, more than 11,000 to spit in the open, and more than 3,000 to chew gutka and tobacco or mix liquor in public spaces.
A enforcement official said that most of the bookings lasted a little more than a month starting with June when the government began to raise the limitation of locking gradually and the number of people in public places began to increase.
Relaxation of locking began on May 31 with the government allows manufacturing units in industrial areas and construction activities to restart.
In phase after that, other trade such as markets, malls, restaurants, fitness centers and yoga institutions are allowed to continue.
Because violations spread throughout the city, the scale of violations has not been revealed, although the data of enforcement shows a broad violation, large-scale infraction.
Volume of worrying violations and shows that people do not bother following Covid guidelines regardless of the threat of a new surge.
Since reopening, many crowded markets have seen violations on regulations on masks and social distance, which leads to a number of markets closed by district authorities.
Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal regularly appealed to Delhies not to consider Covid pandemic to end, but to be careful that the infection was examined by wearing a mask and following social blasphemy norms.
The Delhi government has mobilized 156 monitoring teams and around 130 vehicles to ensure strict covid norm enforcement throughout the city.
At the Delhi Disaster Management Authority meeting on Friday, 11 districts were asked to focus on enforcing Covid regulations in public.
Sensitive areas of crowds such as markets, Mandis, bus terminals, train stations, restaurants are in the focus of the law enforcement team.
The District Authority also creates awareness among people with associations in market associations, the associations of the welfare of the population and other institutions.
Dr.
Arun Gupta, Delhi’s medical council president, said that non-responsible behavior from the community was mostly responsible for the second covid wave and this sustainable behavior would deliver a surge in other infections.
“People must understand that the government itself cannot prevent covid.
It takes collective efforts and residents must adopt the appropriate behavior of Covid and also encourage others to do so,” said Gupta, who is also a member of the Delhi Government Expert Committee on Pandemi.
