New Delhi: Customs Officials at Indira Gandhi International Airport intercepted a large consignment of heroin which was worth almost Rs 7.5 Crore.
1.2kg medicines are hidden in 78 bangles, which are found at the airport on Sunday.
An official said that the team acted on the input received a few days ago and intercepted a bracelet courier.
The package was sent from African countries and will be sent to the address that is not in Gurgaon.
“The arrest in this case is likely to be soon,” said an official in a similar case, customs prevention officials have confiscated a 510 gram heroin in January worth Rs 3.5 Crore, hidden in the jump-jump rope.
The confiscation was also made at the IGI new courier terminal.
An official said that the same cartel was behind the courier too.
