New Delhi: In changes in large organizations, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Sunday appointed Arun Kumar Joint Secretary General interface for political problems and also the coordinator with BJP.
Kumar, who recently increased in the rank after becoming a national media head for several years, replacing another joint Secretary General Krishna Gopal holding charges since 2015.
The change was announced at the ongoing RSS meeting at Chitarkoot in Madarkoot in Madhya Pradesh.
When contacted, RSS Pramukh Pramukh Sunil Amkarkar confirmed his development and said Arun Kumar would be the Sangh coordinator for political problems including BJP.
He further said this is routine and sangh exercises continue to divert workers from one responsibility to another.
Earlier this year, RSS has made a change in generation in its organizational structure by lifting Dattatreya Hosabale as Secretary General and Arun Kumar along with Ramdatt Chakararddhar as a Joint Secretary General.
Kumar’s appointment was seen as another big step towards making RSS more proactive in his agenda, including on the front of the political.
RSS representatives were invited to Key BJP Organizational Meets and played an important role in the appointment of organizations as well.
