New Delhi: Taking Infosys Over Glithes in the GST Portal and Income Tax Developed by him, RSS’s weekly weekly Panchjaran launched a scathing attack on domestic software companies and wondering whether “anti-national strength tried to hurt India’s economic interests through it”.
In the latest edition, the fish carries a four-page cover story on Infosys ‘Saakh Aur Aghaat’ (reputation and damage) and with picture Narayana Murthy on the cover page.
This article has attacked a Bengaluru-based company and narrated it as ‘Unchi Dukan, Phika Pakwaan’ (crying and a little wool).
Ending the article as “anti-national”, Jairam Ramesh’s Congress leader in a tweet said it was an effort to change errors from the government and deserve to wholeheartedly.
“Scurrilous attacks on infosts in outrageous and actual anti-national RSS publications.
Companies like Infosys have changed India and stands in the world,” Ramesh said.
Noting that there was a regular disruption incident in these portals developed by Infosys, which resulted in problems for taxpayers and investors, the article said that the incident “imposed taxpayer’s trust in the Indian economy”.
The article said that government organizations and institutions were never hesitant in providing contracts for websites and important portals for infosys because they were one of the most famous software companies in India.
“Because of the disruption of the GST Parts and the return of income tax developed by Infosys, the Trust of Taxpayers in the State Economy has been affected.
Is it the anti-national force through infosys trying to hurt the economic interests of India,” the article wondered.
Even though the article stated that the magazine did not have strong evidence to say this, added that infosys had been accused of many times “Naxalites, left and Tukde-Tukde gang”.
It also asks if InfoSys will “provide the same bad service for its foreign clients”.
When contacted, the editor of Hitesh Shankar editor said Infosys was a great work and was very crucial given to the government based on its credibility.
“Disorders in this tax portal are national concern and those responsible for them must be accounted for,” Shankar said.
