Trichy: The Pulajottai police have arrested 38-year-old RSS officials on charges of “wrongly holding” two women, accusing them to indulge acts relating to religious conversion.
RSS Pejamin Ganesh Babu stopped the women from visiting Thimmiampatti near Illuppur and took their two-wheeled vehicles and their cellphones, said the duo was on a religious conversion mission.
He was arrested based on complaints submitted by both Christian women – Rani and Devasanthi.
The incident occurred in the village on January 21.
