RTD COP ordered to seize valuables worth Rs 21 Lakh

Mumbai: A former police police have been booked after he allegedly seized ‘Muddemaal’ (restored property) worth Rs 21.6 lakh where he was a guard before retiring from strength.
Nandkumar Kharat, 58, hasn’t been arrested yet.

The Nirmal Nagar police station contacted Kharat who lived in Kalyan and asked him to stay with a restored property.

Finally, FIR was registered under the part of the 409 IPC (criminal violation of trust by public servants) against Kharat.
The department will ask him before making an arrest.
