RTO hasn’t found a MBBS doctor to issue a CER certificate

Nagpur: There is no doctor MBBS from the city, it seems, ready for Empanel with the Regional Transportation Office (RTO) to publish online medical certificates to those who submit a broad driving application.
This year, the Office of the Transportation Commissioner has made it mandatory for applicants to send medical fitness certificates online.
During the document verification by the Department of Transportation officials, especially motorized vehicle inspectors and motor vehicle assistant inspectors were found that many applicants have submitted a fake medical certificate.
After this, the department has decided to emprenel MBBS doctors only to be allowed to issue advanced medical certificates to get empanel.
“The Department of Transportation has approached the Indian Medical Association for that purpose.
But we have not received a response from a local doctor,” said Deputy RTO.Se per decision, doctors who are willing to get the embalance must visit the RTO office and have their medical qualifications.
After this, they will be given a login ID to upload a medical certificate on the RTO website.
Some general practitioners, who have issued a soft copy of the medical fitness certificate to encourage SIM applicants, indicating that the certificate of uploading on the website is very time consuming.
The Transport Department official also recognizes negative feedback from doctor’s practice in the city.
“Doctors see the process of uploading a medical certificate on the RTO website of additional tasks that are not necessary because the website is slow and full of interference.
Therefore, they are reluctant to work,” officials said.
