Mumbai: The suspended regional transportation officers have moved the Bombay High Court who seek investigation by the CBI or an independent agency for the Minister of Transportation of Anil Puriab and several high-ranking officers from the Department, accusing corruption and bribery in transfers and posts.
Judge S S Shinde and Nijamoodin Jamadar heard the petition by Gajendra Patil, in May, has made accusations against the Parab, the Transport Commissioner Avinash Dhakne and five senior officers.
Patil’s advocate argues that he wrote to the police commissioner Nashik earlier this year.
CP conducted an investigation but did not find anything against Puriab and officers.
Advocates said the probe report was not published and then Patil was suspended.
He urged the bench to direct him to be placed in front of the court.
The judges said they would not give orders without hearing respondents.
This problem is posted until October 8.
