Ru design center gets a rs 10 crore grant from UGC

Jaipur: Design Innovation Center (DIC) from the University of Rajasthan, which was founded in 2016, has been given a five-year extension by the Ministry of Education along with Hospital 10 Crore Grants in two phases.
DIC was founded by the central government in the center of Rajasthan University for technology converging.
The aim is to spread design education among students so as to create a design culture and design thinking and to promote innovation among students and ordinary people.
Representatives of Chancellor Rajiv Jain said, “We are happy that DIC has been expanded 2026 and in time, it will be a sustainable basis.
We already have ecosystems in place and have confidence that faculty members and students will take advantage of the framework provided by DIC.
“This center mainly aims to design food, computer-assisted drug design, product design that uses various types of layers etc.
