Ru Syndicate Meet Okays RS 317 Crore Budget

Jaipur: The University of Rajasthan on Wednesday issued a budget of RS 317 Crore at the Syndicate meeting after a six-month delay.
Because there was no syndicate meeting because of a pandemic, the University functions with financial sanctions by the governor.
Revealed at the meeting that the University ran by losing around Rs 157 Crore.
The decision taken by the Academic Council for MPAT examination (for the entry of PhD students) is also forwarded at the meeting and is now expected the exam will be held soon.
The university will provide a certificate for research to students who do a PhD according to the UGC rules.
Apart from this, it was decided to send a recommendation from six teachers of a university research partner who was still waiting for their promotion to the government.
As soon as the government permit is accepted, the university will provide promotional benefits to all these teachers.
Representatives of Chancellor Rajeev Jain said, “The loss is because the strength of the student has decreased but the same liability.
Previously, Jaipur, Dausa, Sikar, Bharatpur and Alwar Colleges were under the University of Rajasthan with 11 students lakh.
Now, only Jaipur and college Dausa are located Under university jurisdiction with 6.5 lakh students.
