Thiruvananthapuram: The dramatic scene was witnessed outside the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) gate in the south when a member of the union and local residents blocked the movement of the trailer carrying large cargo to VSSC demanding ‘Nokkukools’, following the movement of vehicles postponed for more than two hours.

According to the police, the trailer was blocked by unacceptable union members who functioned at the South Maca Gate VSC around 11am.
When officials refused to pay Nokkukoololi, more locals gathered ignoring limiting locking on Sundays.
After this, more police personnel were called to the place to bring the situation under control.
Rajeswari S Pillai, Consultant Express Global Logistics Private Limited, a company carrying cargo, said there was no human power or even an external machine needed to reduce cargo.
The cargo consists of two deposition rooms from the Trisonic Thumba wind tunnel project the equatoric rocket launch station in VSSC.
One room weighed 128 tons while the others weighed 28 tons being transported with a gliding trailer.
The room can be installed into the wind tunnel by lowering the shaft.
“Police and government officials are very helpful,” said Rajeswari S Pillai.
When the situation was getting worse, he contacted the office of the Minister of Chief.
Immediately he was contacted by the Office of the Minister of Labor and the District Labor Officer to visit the place and held talks with the agitators.
After more than two hours, the agitators were scattered and allowed the trailer to pass.
The cargo should enter through the canal gate from the Sarabhai Vikram room center.
But, because the small bridge located is not strong enough to carry a cargo load, the route is changed through the Title Gate of the South Maci Vikram Sarabhai Space Center.
The police have registered a case against more than 50 people because it causes obstruction in public spaces and riots.
