Patna: The supporting association on Saturday wrote to Patna Head of the High Court of Sanjay Karol, expressed concern for acute judges’ shortcomings and asked him to ensure an increase in the power of judges approved from 53 to 75.
The association also urged Karol starting the physical function of the High Court, Court Subordinates, courts and other courts throughout the state should start this month with all Covid safety protocols.
The letter was written by senior lawyer Yogesh Chandra Verma.
The copy of the letter will also be sent to the President of India, SM, chairman of the head of the head of India, Union and state law.
“There is a shortage of acute judges at the Patna High Court and the subordinate court.
The High Court only has 19 judges against its strength 53,” Verma wrote.
He also highlighted in the letter that Prabhat Kumar Jha justice is scheduled for fundamental on July 15 and justice Rajendra Kumar Mishra on September 30 this year and it will reduce the power of the judge sitting up to 17.
