Rugged S1 Panasonic Toughbook Tablet Launched in India: Prices, Specifications and Features

Panasonic has launched a Panasonic Toughbook S1 tablet in India.
The tablet was launched in the US in May this year at $ 2499.
In India, the price of tablets began at Rs 98,000.
This tablet has been designed for people who work in the fields of transportation, logistics and these sectors.
This device runs Android 10 with Android Enterprise.
Panasonic Toughbook S1: Design and DisplayPanasonic Toughbook S1 has a 7-inch WXGA IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 800 x 1200 pixels.
The touch screen display can be used with a passive pen and with gloves too.
It features a sturdy design and size 194mm x 131mm x 22.9mm without additional accessories.
This is an integrated barcode reader sport.
Users also get options to complete two batteries on the device – standard 3,200mAh along with an extended 5.580mAh battery.
This tablet weighs 434 grams with standard batteries and 514 grams with expanded batteries.
The company claims that with both battery devices can provide up to 14 hours of use.
This tablet is waterproof and dust and the company claims that it can be operated in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.
Panasonic Toughbook S1: Processor and Camera under the hood, Panasonic Toughbook S1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core 660 chipset paired with 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
When it comes to the camera, the tablet gets a 13 megapixel camera behind.
For selfies and video calls, the device has a 5 megapixel camera on the front.
In terms of connectivity, Toughbook S1 tablet comes with Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.1, NFC, MicroSD / SDXC USB Type-C card slot, 3.5mm and other headphone jacks.
As mentioned earlier, the device runs on Android 10 with Android Enterprise.
