Greater Noida: The rules and guidelines for the industrial plot allotment along the Yamuna Expressway region will be revised in the coming days.
In a meeting of senior industrial department officials on Monday, it was decided that focus while allocating plots in the upcoming scheme on productivity.
Officials said that the core of the meeting was to get the earliest industrial and functional manufacturing units.
“We will issue a checklist to Allastee which is at the end of August and September.
They will be asked to execute rent and start construction activities,” said an officer of the Yamuna Expressway Industry Development Authority (Yeida).

The main points discussed include changes in the rules to ensure that there are no plots sold to other allottees in 10 years without getting a functional unit with a minimum operation.

Authority will provide preference to companies and companies that have substantial replacement and promising investment worth more than Rs 500 Crore will be given land without interviews with the first basis, served first.
The company operating in the region must also order 30% of their workforce requirements for residents.
According to sources, senior officials hold that the area needs to be isolated from speculators and real estate brokers who seek short-term profits.
“We will share a draft with senior officials and carriers of the Industrial Association office before notifying changes,” said Chief Executive Official, Arun VIR Singh.
Secretary General of the Yamuna Expressway Entrepreneurs Association, Rishabh Nigam said: “We will go through the draft and share our views.
Getting a functional unit is a priority, but sectors must be developed too.
We will want to discuss the rules for the involvement of the local population.
