Rupani pays BJP failure: Congress

Ahmedabad: Immediately after Gujarat Minister Vijay Rupani submitted his resignation to the Governor of Acharya Devvrat on Saturday, the Congress was quick to reiterate that the leaders had predicted that Rupani would make a scapegoat to hide the failure of the BJP government.
President of the Gujarat Congress Committee President Amit Chavda, “by changing CM, the failure of the government will not remain hidden.
People have become victims of failed economic policies, farmers commit suicide and, even after paying more for education, unemployed youth.” Chavda tweeted his position on 1 August where he questioned the celebration announced to mark the completion of five years as cm.
“We said that this was an opportunity to give him a big separation, and BJP gave him a celebration with a celebration on his behalf of five years in the office,” he said.
He also asked why no one was allowed to complete the full term in the office.
