Coimbatore: The rural authorities have appointed girls sub-inspectors and constables as Lost Individual Liaison Officers (MPLOs) in of the 35 police stations in their authority in the field.
Their primary function is to track the lost kids, men and women with no delay.R Sughasini, added deputy superintendent of police (crime against women and kids ), stated the liaison officers could help fix the missing individual cases in a quick way.
“It is going to be their duty to take on the lost individual cases immediately when they are reported.” The rural authorities had enrolled 72 missing individual cases, 22 of these children, in April alone.
Authorities had conducted a unique drive and tracked 43 of these, including 14 children.
Back in May, 41 missing individual cases, 10 of them children, were reported along with the MPLOs tracked all of the missing kids and the other 23 individuals.
“Some girls leave their homes due to family issues, while small women elope together with their fans.
After tracing thembring them to police channels and supply them counseling.
We’ve got close affiliation with all the counsellors from the subject,” Sughasini said.Constable Lavanya, that has been appointed the MPLO in Thudiyalur police station,” said she’d ask with the household members to gather the whole information about the lost individual.
