‘Russia arranges new special flights to provide assistance to AFG’

Moscow: Russia will arrange new special flights to immediately provide humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, local media reported quoting its ambassador to Kabul on Thursday.

The TASS news agency quoted the Ambassador reported that several hundred Russians remained in Afghanistan, and those who want to return to their homeland will be evacuated on Thursday through a military transport aircraft.
“Nearly 900 Afghans of Russian universities will be transported to Russia in the near future,” said Zhirnov.
The UN migration agency raises concerns over the ongoing humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, it is said that Afghanistan can fall into “extreme poverty” in mid 2022 if there is no action taken immediately to overcome the crisis of humanitarian, economic and political politics simultaneously.
